WONDERFUL THOMAS

Pomposa  The fifth trial-  of the Italian  International  was hosted by the Ferrarese circuit of Pomposa, the weather forecast foretold  a wet weekend , but on the ferrarese circuit the sun shone and warmed the race for the two days.

The TM ensign marked the second best time in trial on Saturday preceded by Uros Nastran who performed a sensational lap conquering the first  Pole Position of the season , third best time for Adrien Chareyre and fourth best presentation in absolute for Fabio Balducci..

On Sunday morning Thomas arrives in splendid shape and during the warm up and with theTeam makes some modifications on his TM FACTORY that in the end prove determinating.

First Manche-The light turns green and to conquer the holeshot is Adrien Chareyre, closely followed by Fabio Balducci’s  younger bother and Ivan Lazzarini, It was seen straight away that the race is going to be a family affair, the two transalpines  set an elevated rhythm but, after a few laps Thomas attacks and passes in command. 

The indifference with which Thomas drives his TM FACTORY to say the least is marvellous and the rows seemed to form by themselves, lap after lap the little Chareyre takes himself under the chequered flag that was waved a lap earlier due to a break down of Teo Monticelli’s motor, second at the finishing line is Adrien Chareyre and Ivan Lazzarini conquers the third position favoured by a skid by Fabio Balducci.

Second Manche-  The start of the second manche for the first three places is a replica of the first

This time the two transalpines come out of the duel spectacular and enthusiastic that will finish only in the seventh lap when the chequered flag sees them passing though victorious.

Second classified  the Aprillia pilot  Adrien Chareyre and third the Bolognian  Fabio Balducci.

Thomas leads the classifications of the championship with 226 points followed by Lazzarini distanced by 46 points and his brother Adrien  distanced by 47 pionts.
