“ROKY TANEL”

La Baneza Spain-With the flat rate of the historic track of belpuig the world circus is found in La Baneza , the right location to debate the GP in Spain, as always the Spanish public do not fail to comply with the expectations and they are here in great numbers and unrestrained as always.

MX1-The official TM Tanel Leok arrives in Spain very motivated and impatient to try the novelties brought for him. In the TM house they are working very hard to comply with the requests of the strong pilot Estone, and furthermore there is much developing , to have a more competitive motor with better performance..

They say that a good day is seen in the morning! We can say this of the trials because, it is understood straight away that Tanel likes the material sent to Spain from Factory Pesarese.

The time of the laps confirm it, third time and a breath away from the pole position  (+0,70 ) enthusiasm increases but the team know, don’t to be too euphoric because the day is still young and there is a lot of work to do , furthermore the opponents, certainly wont just stand and watch.

In the qualifying manche, it is decided to try to do something about the race and not to look at the results too much because the good take off positions on this track are different and Tanel finishes the manche in the thirteenth position, but with all the indications he was looking for.

MX1 First Manche- L’ESTONIAN EXPRESS  is not wrong and takes off hard at the starting gate and comes up to the first bend amongst the first but, unfortunately at the next bend , with the group still bunched together another pilot widens  the trajectory too much pushing number 6 of the Pesarese house off  track. It’s a delicate phase because the insidious green net is always there waiting for a spurt of gas to wind  round Tanel’s  back wheel , but he knows and prefers to loose  position, he re-enters and tries to recuperate, time passes relentlessly  and Leok re-enters twenty-sixth

NEVER LET GO   This is his motto ,so down goes his head and he remounts, bringing home a good valued thirteenth position.

MX2  Second Manche - Concentration is at maximum and the will of liberation is high therefore knowing his own abilities and a TM FACTORY in great shape the Roccioso Estone darts out off the starting gate at a chilling speed .

His TM on the square takes the shape of a FRECCIA TRICLORE ( Italian airforce jets), It’s time, this is the occasion that we have been waiting for, at the first bend there are also the others, one moment third then second behind Cairoli, the KTM ensign pushes hard, but Tanel does not let go and he also imposes a devastating rhythm for the pilots who follow him. The race is long---very long and behind number 6 a long train of  followers has formed up ( not to be under-valued )                      first among the numbers is number 19 David Philippaerts, then on his wheel Desalle and the pilot  from the Barragan house, the public was all for him.

Tanel faces the bend like only he can do, head down and body forward, time seems not to pass, and the opponents are closing up. DP19 tries first, who is then attacked by Desalle,But when the BLUE MISSEL passes   in front of the boxes , the notification board  does not leave space for interpretation, one word only “ HARD “ and Tanel acts and increases the rhythm, putting  a good distance between him and the other pilots .

Something happens behind him Desalle and  Philippaerts go out of sight, So  Barragan arrives undisturbed he seems to be riding at ease but, once behind the TM official he has another surprise. Tanel changes the rhythm once more, forcing the Spanish pilot to commit small mistakes.

Three laps to go, for the finish we are all in movement with ESTONIAN EXPRESS really everybody!! Who from the  boxes who from home, we are all with him , on his TM, three infernal laps  that seem like thirty! Tanel will have his heartbeats at 200 and us at 220!. Here comes Philippaerts followed by Desalle who after a u-bend overtakes him, still two laps and Desalle is there, one lap and the adrenalin is at a thousand, the chequered flag is ready for the arrival! A bend- another bend, the downhill before the last bend done at all gas. COME ON TANEL, we are all with you!  The last bend and the throttle open wide, gears go in, one after the other and the blue arrow cuts the finishing line in second position behind Cairoli by a very short distance .

There is an explosion in the box, at home, today the Supermotard  is ran, and even there, in the tent the TM FACTORY   team rejoice in front of the video for the great result.
